I studied for the test first with the class when discussing the general ideas with others. Then when I went home, I studied my general ideas, made another chart for practice purposes and studied my key terms. Then the next they when I got to school, Kyle and I questioned each other on additional details from the book which could help us write better answers.
I think that this method was very effective as later when I actually had to write the test, I felt comfortable knowing all the important ideas and the major details. Next time, I'm planning on studying the same way as last time as I think it was very effective.
The most surprising thing that I learned in this unit was that Neanderthals lived on 25,000 years ago. I thought that they died out a while before that.
If we spent more time on the unit, I would like to explore more the creatures that lived at that tine and how they effect the environment rather than only focusing on people. But I guess that's more of a topic for science, not humanities.
